how big is the venue?

The total square footage is nearly 12,000 between the chapel and the reception venue. Our venue is one of the larger event spaces in Southwestern Missouri.

what is max the capacity?

The maximum amount of friends and family that can be hosted at our venue is 350.

how long can I reserve?

All of our packages allow you to reserve the venue from 9AM-11PM. There will be no other bookings on the day of your event.

 
 
 
 
 

what is the cost to reserve?

We require a 25% retainer fee upon booking as well as a signed contract. The remainder will be placed on a payment plan!

what all does it include?

This ultimately depends on the wedding package you choose! All packages come with the rental of the venue from 9AM-11PM, 200 Chiavari Chairs, 25 Round Tables, and a 2 hour rehearsal.

how do I schedule a tour?

is your facility wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our chapel and reception facilities are all 100% ADA approved!

can I bring my own alcohol?

No, Southern Charm Estate is a liquor-licensed facility. Therefore, it is illegal to bring outside alcohol into the venue. We serve liquor, beer, and wine at our full-service bar.

what is your cancellation policy?

If we are able to book your date again, you will be able to receive a refund. Otherwise, it is not refundable.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

does your facility have a kitchen?

Yes, however, it is a warming kitchen. There is an ice-maker, refrigerator, oven and microwave. All cooking must take place off-site.

do you have preferred vendor’s list?

Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work with some of the finest wedding vendors in the 417. We will gladly share that list with you!

when is last call for music and alcohol?

Last call will take place approximately 1 hour prior to your event end time. This will vary if you have booked the venue for additional hours.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

how many ceremony spaces do you have?

Our venue has two permanent ceremony spaces. [the courtyard and chapel] Both spaces seat 200+ friends and family and are each uniquely beautiful.

do you allow real candles or sparkler sendoffs?

Yes, we do allow for both. Real candles must be placed in a votive. Sparkler sendoffs are welcome, and we will provide a bucket of water for your guests to dispose of them.

what décor / sendoff items are not allowed?

We DO NOT allow glitter, real candles without votives, confetti, real flower petals indoors, floating lanterns or tape/nails/thumbtacks on the walls.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

when can I schedule my rehearsal?

We book rehearsal times 60 days prior to your event. Rehearsals are scheduled in 2-hour blocks the Thursday before your event.

does your facility have WIFI?

Yes, we have WIFI and can provide it to you upon request.

do you allow smoking at your facility?

We do allow smoking and have designated smoking areas around the venue.
